It's all new

I thought since I keep up with my friends far and wide through their blogs, I would put one out so they could keep up with me. Now I just have to figure out what to write about.

I am on a 2 week break from school right now. Thank goodness, I needed it. I just finished two on-line classes, Advanced English Comp and Diversity in Society. I am not a big fan of writing, so I was not looking forward to the English class at all. It ended up not being too bad. I am going to have to remember to take classes that involve a lot of writing on-line because the amount you have to write is greatly decreased. Diversity in Society on the other hand was a complete waste of my time. I will have to say that my parents did a great job of raising me to accept people of all shapes, sizes, colors, religions, and cultures. I did not like the fact that I had to pay $1200 to take a class to teach me what I have learned all of my life. Thank goodness that is over.

During my little break I am trying to spend some time at home. I sat outside on the front stoop and hung out with the neighbors last night. I love living downtown, there is always something going on. I met a lot of people and feel like I am part of the neighborhood finally. Kathy and Zach live downstairs. Kathy's daughter and her 3 kids are staying there too. How they fit so many people into such a small apartment I will never know, but they seem to be a very close family. It was nice to see that.

Well, I guess I should get back to work. It was nice filling you all in. I will try to post regular updates, that is if I have time between work and school and fun. Love you all. God Bless.
